MiCorps Volunteer Lake Monitoring Training Workshops

Training for lake monitoring is provided each year at the Michigan Lake and Stream Associations Annual Conference. The 2009 training was held April 24-25 in Houghton Lake, Michigan. Please visit the MLSA website or contact Paul Steen for more information.

MiCorps Stream Monitoring Training Workshops

Each year in June, MiCorps holds a training workshop for volunteer stream monitoring grant recipients. The 2009 workshop on stream monitoring methods was held on June 29th at the Devries Nature Conservancy in Owosso, MI. Contact Paul Steen, psteen@hrwc.org, 734-769-5123, for more information.
